How the Mall works:
117 W. Woodruff Ave. (corner of Putnam & W. Woodruff)
Who May Shop at the Mission Mall?
We care about the needs of the entire community, not just the homeless. Anyone may shop at the Mission Mall. No I.D. is required.
What is Available
Currently, we have many articles of clothing along with many household items, and more are rolling in!
On Saturdays, you may come in and receive 3 items of clothing; 1 pair of shoes; 1 jacket and 1 blanket.
Once a year we have a special opening, which is known as our Coat & Blanket Give-a-way, which is held in the fall. You can check back here and on our facebook page for more information.
What, How, and Where to Donate
Donations of clothes and household goods can be dropped off at the Toledo Gospel Rescue Mission, 117 W. Woodruff between the hours of noon-4, Monday-Friday, or Saturday noon-2. A pick up of large donations such as left over garage sale or rummage sale items can be arranged by calling 419-241-6579.
We also provide truck service for “Fill a Truck Days” where a church or business designates a day when people can bring donations to their facility instead of bringing it downtown. You can call 419-241-6579 to arrange a date for a “Fill a Truck” event at your church or business.
The Mission Mall is in need of volunteers or volunteer groups who would be able to donate their time & talents as a service project or maybe on a regular basis. The following areas at the Mission Mall are in need of able hands: Bicycle repair ministry, Electronics testing and repair (Donated TV’s, VCRs, etc. need tested to verify if usable & safe), general cleaning and upkeep, sorting and hanging of clothing, sorting & folding of bedding & linens, and sorting & matching of shoes. This could be done on a one time basis or a committed regular time on an ongoing basis. Please contact the Mission Mall at 419-241-6579, ext. 102.
